I've looked over the lists of foods that are okay to feed my grey, but haven't seen anything on pecans. Does anyone know if they are a safe to feed? If so, do they need to be shelled or can I let Simba try to get the treat out? Thanks!

Our Simba is also 10 years old and "burping" is part of her daily routine.:eek: Everytime I hear her do this, I say "excuse me". Of course she hasn't learned that part!!

Thanks to the information on the aloe juice, Simba is no longer scratching and plucking like she was! In regards to storing the aloe juice in the refrigerator, how long is it normally good for? It doesn't say anywhere on the label about shelf life once opened??!! Thanks!

I saw a prior post about using Lego's as toys and was wondering if the small Lego's were okay to use or does it need to be the bigger ones. Thanks!

Hello! We recently took in our 10 year old African Grey, Simba, from friends who could no longer keep her due to health reasons. Just wanted to say a big "Thanks" for all of the information I have found so far on making the transition easier for Simba and ourselves.
