Wow, I love the full red and the white mutations. How did they happen?

Hi all! Just found this web site and thought it would help with my African gray Pearl. Pearl is a rescue Cag, about 12 and is a feather plucker of her back end. Likes to chew on those feathers that are red. I adopted Pearl from my sister in law who took pearl in when she just about had no feathers. My sister in -law had her for six years and Pearl has been with me for 3 months. I am really enjoying her company. So we wave Hello.
