Hi henrycag. We did not buy a hybrid but a large free standing cage with a clamshell top that opens. For me they were great people to work with. When the cage came it had one bad latch and I called them and I had a new latch in two days. I could use the cage until the new latch came as it was on the clamshell top and corky could not open it. It was a great cage at a good price.

Corky is good with new things and new people. New toys are cleaned and hung in her cage when she is out and when she goes back in she will check it out and than take it apart.

What we do with our fids is we always hide a treat in the cage when they are out so when they go back to their cage there is something hidden in there for them. We don`t let them see us put it in there and they always go back and look for there treat.

Great update on Romeo and things sound like they are going very well. Also great pictures.

Thank god the holidays are over and we can get back to normal. Cricket is happy, the tree is down, no more visitors, more time out of cage and she has daddy to her self. For me I think my computer is back on track, (I hope) so I can get back on track with my posting. Never thought that an up grade could be so much trouble. Cricket wants more Cricket time on the computer. For now I am off to work.

I have a Cage by Design and love it, Nice big doors to clean and great service if needed.

Hi Natasha and welcome to you and Sadiee to the grey forum. It sounds like in the last 1 1/4 years that progress has been made so just keep up your work with her and things can change.

With my zon and my grey if you don`t give them some of your food they will take their own off your plate. They each have their own plate at meal time, but will run over and take some off yours. Its kind off like share and share alike.

At that age they do grow fast. Blink an eye and you could miss something.

I love it.

A door perch is a good way to remove your parrot from the cage. You can do a step up with out putting your hand in their cage. Some of my birds do not like a hand in their cage, but will step up off the door perch.

I guess I`m lucky with Corky. When she sees something out side she will go to the door to greet it.
