  1. Hi Katy and Simon and welcome to the grey forum. Liveing with a CAG is life changing, and a lot like haveing kids all over again. OH WE LOVE PICTURES
  2. Happy bird day Talon and I hope you have many many many. Enjoy all your new toys and treats.
  3. Hi Life is Greyt and welcome to the forum, and you will find out how greyt life is with a grey. Oh Pictures, pictures, pictures and storys !!!
  4. If some thing happened to you does your zon have a place to go. If some thing happened to me and the wife we have homes for the cockstiels and our african grey Corky, but Cricket our blue fronted amazon is anouther story. With us Cricket has been a loveing and sweet zon but her past is standing in the way of makeing sure she has a home if some thing happens to us. I will not let her go to just anyone and that might be my problem but we are working on that. What kind of plans do you have for your zon. It seams that an older zon can be hard to place but Cricket has turned out so good and I do not want to see her go to anything less than a great home.
  5. I love the Emma videos, she is just a sweet and smart litle girl.

    Progress

It`s so great when they turn that corner. Sounds like you are on the right track. Keep it up.
  7. Hi MarcusCAG, We have had cockatiels for about 40 years and they all loved their head sritched with my nose. I think they like the warm air as you exhale on the back of their neck as you rub their head. The male will be more vocal than the female and the female will chirp more than sing. The lutino can be hard to tell male from female by looks but some say the dark ornge patch and a really yellow head can be a clue to a male. A normal grey cockatiel male will have a very yellow head and dark ornge patch around their ears with a solid dark grey under side of tail feathers The females head will be grey with very little yellow and a barbed marking under side of tail feathers. And yes a female tiel can have eggs with or with out a male. If you wanted little ones and you have a pair all you have to do is put in a nest box. I have had eggs spring, summer, fall, and winter.
  8. She is a good looking grey and I bet you are happy. Good luck
  9. danmcq gave you some good advice. He will come around, just give him time.
  10. Most greys love to be out with their human so my question is. Are there enough toys in his cage to play with so when he is in there he has something to do. And like barbara said an out side play stand to play on with foot toys and bells. You have a clipped bird so he needs a safe place to play. Giving him lots of things to do will take his attention off of you. Giving him toys so he can entertain him self when your not there will help him be a more balanced grey.
  11. A member that cares is always a member. Welcome back
  12. I did not think people still did that any more. Your poor bird
  13. My grey eats all day also, but she is very active and always flying around. My zon would rather walk or climb to the spot she wants and sit there and watch what`s going on.
  14. Your new sig looks great and I love Rocky`s wet look.
  15. Sterling Gris is going to be your gentle giant !!
  16. All four of my birds have full flight, but it`s Corky my CAG that is queen of the air. Cricket my blue fronted amazon is my wallking and climbing queen and my tiels are good at both. They all have a choice to fly if they want to. Cricket can fly if she wants to. the choice is theirs
  17. When it comes to my birds people don`t think I`m silly, They think I`m nuts and you know what, I don`t care. All my parrots mean the world to me !!
  18. It`s fun to listen to them make their little sounds and hear the sounds turn into words as they grow. Great video of sunny and she is a great looking grey.
  19. I`m glad it`s working for you and Egan and it sounds like he is doing great. When Corky was a baby all we had was some books and no computer for info.. Sounds like this formula training should work out just fine. Keep us posted
  20. Corky never said her first word untill she was 2 years old. After that, well she won`t stop !!
  21. Middle ground has been found. It`s nice when they find their place in the flock
  22. Hi Kitten and welcome to the grey forum and family. We love pictures so when your grey comes home we would like to see your bird. Is it a boy or girl and do you have a name.
