I am from Australia and Living in Lagos now. We recently moved from Bonny Island, Nigeria to Lagos with our newly purchased African Grey. We are told she is a female of 4 years, her name being POOH POOH, but have renamed her bubu. I have been told it is impossible to tell the sex without further examinations in which I will not have preformed. Also have been told she may not be 4 years old by the vet as Nigerians will do anything to sell things! How do I tell the age? Can I import her to Australia? Heard that they are an endangered species now....? How sad if that is true. She is picking up new words all the time but have a problem with bathing her. I think she was previously forced.
