Thank you. Now she's in her new cage and moved to other room to sleep. I wish a tight sleeping for her .

Well... the problem is, her cage is in the living room, where we almost stay awake late. I don't want her to be tired because of us... So I bough A new smaller cage and move her to other room where is quieter and make her sleep there and cover her so she sleeps tight... Is it good thing? Or I just remove this idea from my head?

Aoodi always and always stays out of her cage, even when its sleeping time.. And I want her to get used to sleep in the cage every night, so I can cover her and make her sleep tight. How I do it? And should I make her sleep at specific time at night, even if she wants to stay awake?

Everyone knows that vegetables and fruits get bad after a while from serving it to the parrot. My question is, how do I know if my parrot is hungry and ready to eat vegetables and fruits before they get bad? Is there specific time to serve? And how many times should I serve vegetables or fruits a day? What I do is in the morning I fill only the quarter of the parrot's ballet with seeds and stays all day long until it finishs. In the afternoon, I give my parrot some vegetables. At around 8-9 PM, I give my parrot fruits but not everyday, only 4 days of the week. But, it seems that my parrot doesn't eat by herself, I have to stay with the vegetables or the fruits handled close to her until she eat a little then she push the ballet away, and I handle it close again and again... and same thing happens. Well.. the avian said the abscess was from eating sunflower seeds and dry seeds... So I have to give her only few in each morning, the rest should be fruits, vegetables, etc.

I know ... But I believe Aoodi is a male name... It's kind hard to say to Aoodi to a female.. And ofcourse she's still the same. So what do you suggest rename her or just keep her name as it is?

Some of you know the story of Aoodi. When I was with the avian, he told that I must don't say to Aoodi he... I must say SHE!!... :eek: Yeah... she's female not male as the one I bought Aoodi from told me. So I'll be needing you helping in renaming her, can't find a name :rolleyes:. Thank you..

Ok... Last update from the avian. Aoodi is doing great after the surgery, everything is good now. So the avian gave me some instructions I have to follow to guarantee a healthy living for Aoodi. Aoodi will be staying in the vet for few days just to be observed after the surgery. And he'll be ready to be taken this Sunday... How exciting is this ... I can't really thank you as you deserve, for your supporting and caring. Many many many THANKS!

I'm really sorry was very busy the last few days, exams are on the way... About Aoodi, I asked about him many times, he's doing good. He needed 2 surgeries; 1 they'll open a small hole on the abscess to clear it, And they did it and it went good. 2 is the final surgery, to remove it. They'll do it tomorrow. Hope everything go well. He'll be staying few other days after the surgery, so avians can make sure he's 100% good and healthy, and they'll call me so I go to get him.. I'm so excited.. Sorry again for making you wait few days, but I didn't have time to sit on the PC. Thank you all.

Alright... It was long travel to Aoodi, but worth every second..... When I arrived there I hoped the better thing, and it happened.... it seems Aoodi missing me too, wow.... I'm really really happy, when he saw me he came to me and kissed me!!! I really wanted to cry in that moment.. But thanks god he's doing good. He's taking anti-biotic and vitamins now. His abscess is getting bigger, its good thing so they can cut it from his throat. Well... he's having a lot of care there from what I saw. Clear cage, fresh food and a great avian... I arrived to my home again and half of my soul is left with him.... This is the last update, hope I can get another visit to him again and update again.. I just came back from the avian, the one I didn't expect I would find like him in my country... The vet was so clean, organized, etc. So... About Aoodi, the avian who saw Aoodi said that Aoodi's situation is not that bad, but he also needs a surgery to remove something like an abscess in his throat, and Aoodi missing Vitamin ( A ), and also he needs something like boosters for his strength and Aoodi have to stay a week in the vet to be observed well.
