I looked at this same cage on ebay! I am ready to get Boogie a new pad! Right now his cage is too small...imo...even though he doesn't stay in there when we are home...

I use cedar shavings...my understanding is it also helps with mites. I buy a big bag and keep it in a rubbermaid tote. You do have to change it a few times a week...but it also keeps the room smelling fresh!
