Thanks Pearlyn, that is good info. We dont not own anyother pets besides fish at this time. Is it easy to introduce new people when the Grey ages some, say 8-10 years?

Ok, I understand that it may be a touchy subject based on the replies. How does your Grey do flying in the house ie. windows etc. Do you take your Grey outdoors for walks/flights? Does it fly freely, and does it come back? I understand some people have trained birds to recall to certain commands, how well does it work. I would not want my Grey flying into windows in the house and risk injury, let alone flying away outdoors.

My future CAG will be with me and my family for a very long time, that being said. How will a CAG adjust to new pets in the future like a dog? Considering ample space for both of course. For work I tend to travel for a month or two at a time. If I disappear from the CAG's life for months at a time how will that affect our relationship? I plan to have my wife do as much bonding as me, but ultimately the CAG will be mine and I will be responsible for it. Can anyone share some stories or opinons?

That is the question! How many of you experienced owners clip flight wings and how many dont? Please share some pros and cons with me and maybe a story.

Greetings, Iam shopping for the proper cage for a CAG. I am on a budget and would like to keep the cage under 200.00. This is just for the cage, I understand toys and accessories will be extra. Can somebody suggest something to me? I want the cage to be as effiecient as possible ie. not a lot of wasted space.
