I'm a little nervous that my young cat will stalk the new parrot. The bird has been left out of her cage most of the day at her current home, but I wonder if I should keep her in the cage for a while?

I am getting a 3 year old female rescue Grey next week. From what I have heard, she is afraid of fast movement, quiet, doesn't play with toys. Any suggestions on making her feel at home and becoming secure?
