Thanks guys. Bill is sleeping right now. I made him breakfast but he lost it. Argggg. I appreciate all the support. Ceasar won't be playing with me today. He feels the stress and after his flight today, When Bill got up, and I fretted, Ceasar kept biting. Its amazing how in tune these birds are to ones feelings. I know Ceas doesn't know how to handle support so he reacted the way he did on instinct. He's currantly sitting on his cage talking. I think he's saying everything he knows. Rhonnie N ceasar

Hi All. well today confirms my worst suspicions. My husband is ill with prostate trouble.Ceasar has been holding me up for a few weeks as far as Keeping head held high so to speak and so has this Forum.but today he feels it hard and is angry too. Ceas has kept me fairly busy over the last few months but I noticed Hubby Bill, seeming to go downhill. He was talking today about filing his social after he's gone etc. I can't quit crying. Bill has had prostate trouble before but never to the point he could not move.He's going back to the doctor monday but the way he keeps telling me his final plans its tearing me up. We have been married for almost 16 years and Bill never lets feeling bad get in his way. I wanted to thank you all for being so kind to My birds and I. I have leaned on you guys for support even tho you did not know it. Your such a kind group.. I have made the decision to sell my dachsunds to show homes and rehome Lola, my st.Bernard mix. Just keeping my poodle and my birds. I thank you all once more for standing by me.. Rhonnie N Bill

Thanks Judy! Thank Deb! I'm still very excited. Not about him getting into stuff but he is rather adventurous this AM. he actually took a pen cap from my hand today (thanks Emma) and held onto it. He hasn't let it go at all. This bird is so full of surprises!

ROFLMAO, Me Nuts? :whistle: Of course I am LOL But it was such a thrill to hear him fly to me. The sound made me turn my head and I got to watch him "gracefully" land. I thought "graceful" and "land" were not part of Ceasars body language at all. LOL Rhonnie N Ceasar (ha! Fooled her!)

Hello Andre! Welcome! I also am pretty new to this forum but it feels like home now to both me and my birds Ceasar and Verbal. Ceasar is my grey and Verbal is the little quaker parrot. My best advice is to log in and ask specific questions as well as pour thru the older posts. Everyone is very friendly here and will answer you for sure. They've helped alot with Ceasar! Oh my, my baby boy has made a flight! To the back of my computer chair! I'm so tickled! He can fly! He can Fly! That tickles me pink!!!!:woohoo: and of all places he flew to me! Yippee!! Ok he didn't fly onto my shoulder but I'm giving the boy credit! He did not crash land or anything. Its from his cage to the back of my chair! Yeah Buddy! Rhonnie N Ceasar (I knew I could do it!)

If he says Hello now he'll be a talker! LOL I've found in my smaller birds that can talk its usually a year or two before they actually "get into it" I don't know how long it is in greys.... Rhonnie N Ceasar (be careful whatcha wish for, I won't quit talking now! LOL)
