Hi guys, sorry to be asking for advice again but hope you can all help. Right i have had Floss for 9 days now, as i said before i have rehomed her and she is 3 yrs old. Ok after quite a few bites and warning nips she is very much at home talking no stop bless, ok so today she has started to regurgitate when she see me and when i try to stroke her, but when my wife trys to stroke her or talk to her she do'snt regurgitate she just wants to play, she is eating and drinking ok, and destroying her grapes and nuts with great pleasure. I have heard that reguritation can be a sign of affection just really need to be sure or do i need a vet visit? ps would post pic's but mine are all to big over 1 kb so not sure how to change that sorry many thanks

hi mistyparrot, no real reason apart from the fact that my bird has been given a female name, and i would like to know for sure what the sex is. at this moment i have just started to breed indian ringnecks so the greys are something that i will be thinking of in the future so knowing the sex is always a big help

hi my african grey seems really dusty she won,t go in bath or shower have been spraying her but do i need to kno do i do this everyday would appreciate any advice.

Right guys i've had my baby girl only a couple of days now she's 3 years old and female we think, i will be getting her dna tested, and her name is floss sorry dont blame but she likes it. Well i have taken her on as her last owner became ill with a dust allergy so she asked me if i would be willing to give her a good home so of course i answered yes please, as floss is a bit nutty she fits right in, in my house lol. I have to say i'm still weary of her as she has bitten me a few times but i'm sure she will come round, she is very chatty and is bi-ligual she chats in english and says some words in welsh she can also count from 1 to 5, and at the moment her fav game is catch the ball. ah well thats enough from me for now will keep you all up dated on her progress. p.s. many thanks to everyone who gave me answers to the question that i posted.

Hi all i'm looking for a bit of advice as of today i havtaken in a 3 year old possible a hen, and i know she is a bit nervous but she didnt bite her old owner and she has had me a couple of times already while i have been sorting out her cage, this is a habit that i dont want her to get into, i believe she is bluffing but not 100% certain, so i am looking for any help or tips on how to stop her biting if this habit continues, all advice is gratefully recieved

hi i,m having a african grey in a few weeks time and i was wondering if u could sex the bird yourself or do u have to send of to have it done. the lady im having it off thinks its a female but isnt quite sure would appreciate any advice.
