I have a 5 yr old male congo african grey "Rex" and last night we took him into a room in our house that he had never been...mind you he has been with us all of 3 days....anyways, he would walk around the room inspecting walls, curtains etc..... and he stand himself up real tall and then throw is head back or to the side...it was really wierd.....i'm wondering if this is normal grey behavior or is it just in the males...or is he retarded lol.
