Thank you all much for the warm welcome. Wonderful to find so many other animal lovers. I will post some pics when I get time. I'm off to do some farming. My motto -
"We are blessed by HIS creations and intrusted with HIS creatures!"
Hi to all. I am the owner of a beloved grey who is Akila. She is 1.5 years old. She began talking when she was about 10 months. She has learned so many words and phrase that sometimes I believe that we are really having a regular conversation. I live in SC and I am a nurse in a hospital. I work in Nweborn nursery or special care for the sick ones. I live on a farm where we raise alpacas and Fresian sport horses. I also have several dogs My animals are the loves of our lives.
Thanks Dave007. I,m just so scared that my sweet talkative friend has lost her voice somehow. We communicate constantly when I am home an it would be devastating to loose that relationship.
Thsnks Dave007. Shehas been totally silent all morning. When I make a usual game of saying I love you. she always resopnds and a hug around the neck. Or she constantly gives the dogs commands or beeps like the dor alarm. She opens her mouth like she is trying to push out a response but there is just no sound. She is never this quiet in the morning . Do they ever get voice box problems? This is my first Grey.
Help! My 1.5 year old grey is usually a chatter box. This am she seems to try to talk by opening her mouth but no voice is coming out. She is active, ate fine this am and just acts normal. What could be wrong with the voice box? Tks, mamagray
