Perrinbird

Perrin has just recently started saying "Woka woka woka" like the muppet Fozzy bear. A friend taught that to him. He'll also call the dog and then bark liker her.

Yeah I felt pretty special. Sunny really has taken to me. When he would board at my work there wasn't really anyone else he liked that much, he even bit a few people pretty hard. So it just makes me happy to know that I could provide him with a good home if the need ever arose.

Poppy we do ship to the UK if that helps, just thought you should know. I hadn't heard about them reformulating. It's good to know especially since Perrin loves Zupreem.

I haven't tried the larger pieces with Perrin but I suppose he wouldn't have a problem eating it. If you shop online you can check out www.arcatapet.com I know that they have some in stock both the 3 lb and the 20 lb bag. I work there so I know we had it on Tuesday. Not to self promote.

Great story!! I probably would have been a little jealous too

So the pet store I work at used to board birds, just until recently. California has a new pet store law that would make it hard for our store to keep on having birds for sale. So in the decision to stop selling birds we also decided to stop boarding. Well there are a few birds I will miss dearly as I don't have the space needed to board them myself. Sorry I'm straying from my point. There is however one bird in particular that I offered to board. And that bird is Sunny the Senegal. I believe Sunny is somewhere around 21 or 22 years old. I love this little bird. I will be boarding him through the weekend and was excited when his owners asked me if I would be interested in taking him or finding him a new home in the even that something should happen to them. There is also a sum of money attached to provide for his care. I told them I would take Sunny in a heartbeat and money is not necessary. I felt pretty honored that these people thought of me to take care of their little feathered friend. Just thought I would share with others.

I had a similar experience with my grey. I bought a new perch for his cage and he was absolutely terrified of it. At the time there was a chair next to his cage so I put the perch on the chair so he could see it. We it was two months before he was ok with it in his cage and another month and a half before he would perch on it. New toys and perches take a long time for some greys to get used to. But Dave007 gave some great advice and I can't thing of anything to add to it.

I've used both Poop-Off and AviClean and definitely think the AviClean works a little better. The wax paper is a great idea! Thanks for sharing.
