Hi everyone thought i`d share this with you all and i`m sure this is good for all birds not just cags OK i have wood floors and i wanted to wash them in a safe way and now i use Zoflora i mop this on and off and they do this in nice fresh smells. Is it safe for use around pets? When correctly diluted Zoflora may be used where pets are kept. It will kill bacteria and eliminate unpleasant odours. Do not allow pets to lick or walk on wet or treated surfaces. Keep them off until dry. I WOULD NOT CLEAN CAGES OR BOWLS ECT ECT JUST FLOORS http://www.zoflora.co.uk/products/information/ you can get it for 99p at the 99p stores http://www.99pstoresltd.com/ IF you have one in your area? UK sorry I have to say i didn`t give this a thought cleaning the house and it takes alot of thinking about when cleaning around your Birds!. Hope this is of use to you all? Hi hope someone can help me here? ok tonight kya my cag bit me a little so i told her off and then placed her in the other room to cool off. after a min i let her back in the room i was in with my other bird a hanhns macaw. She did this again nothing major but i thought i`d correct it not by shouting just a be careful and remove her from the room once again. I then reopen the door and one tail feather is on the floor nipped off!! she has neer done this before she is not yet a full year old. Is she just upset because i left her? she was calling me. I feel bad but wanted to make sure with you all. Dave.

thank you :cheer: i have been reading alot of books and websites about food. I`m giving a tidymix full bowl for the day and fruit. i`m thinking of giving a pellet form of food! i`m told in a book that seed wise just put a heaped tea spoon of seed only as this keeps the bird hungry and make them eat the other food in cage?. but keep pellets in there full time. i`m in a mess with the food i think.. they are eating this isn`t the problem and they like both food. I have a grey and hahns macaw so will they both eat this kinds set up? what pettet food do you use? i`m in the uk so i hope i can get it:lol: they like oranges but how much do i give? i was told only very little? a segment of orange? how many fruit and veg in one sitting? this is what i`m finding hard? I do worry about the guys alot and maybe over fuss can`t help it! all the more important to get it right!! Very sorry for all the questions... Dave

Post edited by: Lex, at: 2009/05/29 23:22
