  3. just got my guys from tidy mix (seeds) to pretty bird had to add orange juice to make them eat it but going great so far! also they have veg and fruit most of it goes on the cage floor little swines!

  5. I have my cag kya with oz my hahns macaw in the same cage they cuddle up together but they have moments when they want time with me 1 on 1 but other than that it works well for us.

  11. more here Put fliers (preferably with picture) in all pet shops in your area Talk to pet shop personnel Put fliers (preferably with picture) in all Vet waiting rooms in your area Talk to Vet and personnel Put fliers on poles, etc. in surrounding area Put ad in classified section of newspaper Talk to mail carriers in your area, newspaper delivery people, meter readers, dog walkers, gardeners, etc. Set the bird's cage outside, with the door open, complete with fresh food and water. The cage is often a sense of security that the bird is seeking
  12. have you put out fliers around your area? door to door and posters on trees ect? just an idea... offer a reward? seen it done here in the uk

Took my Hahns macaw to the Avian vet today and kya my cag for the ride and i used a new place in Bedford (UK) called Scotts i must say i am very impressed and would recomend them 100% very clean and staff are polite and helpful.   15. what if they fly up and panic and it snatches? if you know what i mean? like a dog does on a lead. Over pulling to the max! this would worries me.

  18. Does anyone know of a good place to get an aviary from? i`m in the UK so needs to be from here any links to sites would be great. I`ve been looking but not as easy as i`d first thought. For my Cag and Hahns macaw.
  19. started to cover my cag kya and hahns oz they do better for it! i didn`t cover them from the start but wished i had.

Kya has lost and regrown a few primary feathers but one the trail one looks like it is falling out and now has snapped but not all the way through. she can fly but it does get in the way. now what should i do? go get her checked? leave it till it falls out? if it does snap and the shaft is left in there will it be ok will it fall out ok?. Not sure what to do really i no if i`m not sure the best thing to do is to take her to get looked at. BUT the stress might be worse as she hasn`t been to see a vet yet!. Please advise many thanks Worried Dave.

    molting ?

    KYA is doing the same she is now a year old i think the house heating is making it happen quicker? but i`d like to hear more on this i spray her twice a week in the afternoon not night. and also i use Aloe Vera Juice Drink neat in the spray bottle on its own after i wet them not all the time just now and then. http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/pages/product_detail.asp?pid=274&prodid=382 was told here in the forums it helps them.
