Thank you everyone...I will defiantly follow this advice and be consistent with the corrections and reward him for his good behaviour. I totally agree that it will take time but I should be there at the end. I totally agree about the things we find cute and fun when they are little, I have already learnt that lesson with my conure and want to make sure that he doesn't do same thing.
Hi
My timneh gets way over excited sometimes and when he does he nips really hard or when he doesn't get his way. I know he is only four months old and is just testing but sometimes the nips are hard. Even though I have two other birds and I have trained them by saying and no and when they behave i reward them and they learnt not to bite or nip that way but seems not to work on him. He still doesn't understand when I say no. Can anyone provide any good tips as I know he is more intelligent than my other birds so what should I be doing to stop his behaviour when he does get like this?
The other thing is that he tries to fly on top of everyone’s head and I have tried to put him back down and block him but then he gets nippy again.
I know people must have asked the same question many times but i am a bit confused on how to stop this behaviour.
Thank you
Sehar
I have been tryin to post pic but still unsuccessful. I will try to post some pics of timmy soon....

Thank you so much everyone.....I am gonna continue giving him formulae as you said sallas they enjoy it and as my vet said he will reject it when he doesn't want it anymore. He does eat his normal food as well and loves his broccoli.
Luvparrots i hope ur enjoying your timneh as much as I am. He is just so lovely and such a entertainer. There is neva a dull moment when he is around. Every time I am back from uni he just wants me to give him a scratch and when he really wants something he whistles and talks...lol.
Casper I am gonna put up his pics up today.
danmcq i have actually starting keep a record and he has put on weight which is a good thing and i will keep a record of it.
Thank you so much Caroline you have been great help. My vet didn't say he was underweight but said it was average and that they do lose weight after weaning. He does eat pellet but not enough at the moment to keep his weight up but I have starting introducing vegetables and fruits to him just like with my other birds but he seems not to eat much of it as he hasn't developed a taste for it but he does love broccoli and pea.
Hi everyone
I am new to the world of grey. I just brought my baby timneh home 2 weeks ago. He is four months old. We have named him Timmy. My vet has asked me to continue his hand feeding even though the breeder has said he was weaned so a bit confused. Any help would be appreciated whether I should or not? Also is 260g a normal weight for a baby timneh grey? I also have two other parrot a jenday conure named pari and indian ringneck named sunny. Timmy has already started to talk and sometimes sounds like a out of tune radio....loool...He loves to hang upside down which is hilarious. i luv him to bits. I would love to know more about the toys they might like and if clicker training is any good?

Hi
I got my baby timneh grey home 2 weeks ago approx and He is 4 months old. I took him to the vets last week and he told me to hand feed him as he is still too small. Also he puts my finger in his beak and does the baby behaviour. My question is that I was told to feed him twice a day 15ml but he asks for more and I am not sure if I should give him more. Also my breeder said he was fully weaned but doesn't look like he was as he doesn't eat his food properly. Also should I be weighing him every morning before feed or evening after his final feed? Also how well does clicker training work on timneh grey. Any information would be really appreciated as this is the first time i have kept a grey as i only have had conures, indian ringneck and Alexandrine Parakeet before.
Thank you
