Just wanted to share this pic of my grey in south africa (baby) that i had to leave behind( with my sister)because of nigeria s law against importing birds, here he is in bed under blanket with a pillow under his head!! He did believe he is a human (and still do) Post edited by: liefie1, at: 2008/10/05 21:47

Post edited by: liefie1, at: 2008/10/05 21:48

Robert and Mary My deepest simpathy to you! Please remember that god works in his own time dont give up that easily!!! And i am sure your bird loved you but remember that even tough she grew up indoors she is still (in nature) wild animal. Im sure thats not the reason for her taking off. I will keep praying for you! God give me peace of mind to exept what i can not change, courage to change what i can and the wisdom to know the diffrence. Kind Regards Yvette Post edited by: liefie1, at: 2008/10/05 16:30

Post edited by: liefie1, at: 2008/10/05 16:43

Liefie is doing so well i can even see the diference in him since sunday untill now, at first he did not want us to hold him ( rather sleep in his basket) today he is runing after me and moaning alot if i put him down!! He is also much more awake and is playing even exercising his wings!! But he would eat as long as i give him food even if his crop is very full , i only feed him enough so that his crop is full. should i feed him if he wants more food inbetween feedings??? I am not sure cause i can see he is underweight. Is there something that i can faten him up with?? exept for his formula?? can i give him some soft fruit or veggies??? Kind regards Yvette
