Nicole, patience is what it will take to get Rubbi to stop biting. He is afraid and insure. Just be patient. Talk to him. Offer him treats. I sing to my re-homed 10+ year-old Eclectus. Believe it or not the singing calms him. Take things slow and you will have a loving companion in no time.
Sarah, what a great update on Gil!!! I am so happy he has stopped plucking and is happy and content in his new forever home!!! You're a great parront and life is good!!!
Congratulations Carol, your twins are home safe, I am so happy for you!!!! Nice looking son, by the way. I love that picture where you are cuddling Ahjari and you have poop on your shoulder!!!! :woohoo: How cute!!! You look happy and relieved that they are home safe. Have fun.

An update on Sully is in store. He has been coming out of his cage a little more and making lots of sounds. He hung upside down on his cage a couple of times yesterday and for Sully that is an accomplishment. Ana Grey, Sully, Lily and I spent the afternoon outside in the sun yesterday. Most of all there are new feathers on Sully's chest and so far he has left them alone!!!!! I so much want him to be happy!!!
Azzie you have definitely gained her trust. Good job, you're a great parront!!! Enjoy the fun and your sweet baby!!!

Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2009/05/22 01:55
so sorry for Spock's attitude about the new playstand. Perhaps you should have taken him with you to pick it out!!!!
Be patient, you both should play with the toys on the playstand and ignore Spock. Perhaps that might help and he might get envious and want his playstand back!!!
