I called the vet, was going to bring in some droppings, then it just seemed to clear up. After reading Coyote's post, I wonder if poop just happens to be weird sometimes, so of like it happens to us??? As soon as she does another smelly one, I'm taking it in, and I'll let you know.

Thanks for the response- I've read all about birds hiding their sickness, but I really don't feel like she is sick- she is talking and singing and whistling like she always does- wouldn't hurt to have her checked out, though. I'd be glad to intro myself in the welcome room but I just can't find it...it will take me a little while to learn to navigate this site- I'm just getting comfy with facebook!

Hey everybody- I'm new here but already LOVE this site. I was just reading the topic on poop, but this is slightly different. I realize that poop is a big indicator of sickness, so I am concerned for the bird, not my house:lol: My african Grey's poop all of a sudden is smelling like a skunk! She looks healthy enough, I haven't changed her diet, I am having to change her papers several times each day because the smell is so awful...so any ideas???<br><br>Post edited by: j2judybug, at: 2008/09/15 04:17
