what is set up right now is the bottom half of the cage and the top half i have them both mounted on top of each other. i disassembled what was left of the cage when i first got it to clean it. i saw that there was some damages to the cage so i wanted to clean, fix and refinish some parts. Since i got him he never left the top of his cage so i was not in any rush. Everything will be set up today and i should have some pics up soon enough.

I woke up this morning with Storm at the bottom of my bed after the fact i moved to get conformable and i felt a hard peck!!!! i woke up saying WTF!!?!?!! there storm was at the bottom of the bed droppings and all, he must have been there for some time to have went to the bathroom a few times. We talked for a little and then i went back to sleep cautious of him being on my bed now. i woke up and he was still there, this time around i had to leave for practice and wasnt sure if he got stuck and wanted to be back at the perch etc. i tried to up him and he got really mad and yelled so i let him be and went on my way due to time being tight. i came back and he got to a lot of paper shredding most of it all up. Should i let him on my bed being as though he made the effect from across the room to bed? Was he trying to make a nest? should i give him paper he can have so he doesnt do that anymore? What should i have done when he got mad when i wanted him back on the perch? Should i set his cage up so he can be in the cage when im not home? fyi its under maintenance of getting cleaned and coated over again due to come rust

how old is baxter? does anyone have vids of their greys? im from Pa but goto school in De anyone near me?

thought id ask saw a few clips on youtube with live bird acting with the Squawkers-Maccaw thought i would bring it to the forum

has anyone ever heard of Squawkers-Maccaw is it worth buying? if you do have one what all did you program it to do?

what is a harness, one lady told me she made a leesh for her grey and walks him. is that what your talking about?

yuh def no more fingers, i was actually trying to pet him for doing so good all morning throughout the routine. i pet him once and went for the second yuh...... bit

i just got bit real hard dripping blood hard, i dont think im picking him up for awhile now.

yuh the first thing i did when i brought him home was goto the pet store to get the necessary things and home depot and bking for myself on the way home and i brought him along. i told the old owner and he was like u did whatttttttt? i was like i took him outside, he said ummm that bird must really like you cause i that was a huge risk you took. After hearing that i was defiantly scared, since then i took him out just once after that. i want to go get his wings clipped today but i kinda dont want the pet store doing it being as though we just met and he would think i let someone harm him. im thinking of calling the previous owner over to do it.

does anyone take they grey outside at all? this morning i flew to the ground when i woke up, not sure if it was because of me picking up my towel and he thought he was going to get clipped or goto bed etc. i picked him up and went about my morning routine with him on my shoulder.

yuh he got quite again but he was being out of this world annoying if you know what nextel default ringers sound like.

ok stormy is being annoying i came back from costcos and he decided to open up some. he probably hit every nextel ringtone there is and like 2 different fire alarm chirps. should i ignore him or correct it or let him open up more?

my birds name is storm he is 6 and is currently sitting on my arm as it get pens and needles while i type this. i got him yesterday and i think hes warming up, i talk to him all the time and if i goto class or step out i tell him and or leave the tv on for him.

ive just brought my long lost companion yesterday. Our first day went very well but he got cranky towards the end of the night until the afternoon the following day. He is 6 years old and has a vocabulary and has yet to speak around me being this is only day 2. ive done a lot of research but still have my own person questions that i would like to have answered. i would also like to talk on the phone with someone in my same situation so that maybe we can talk regularly.
