Hello, I really dont want to do this but left with zero options, I was relocated to LA - from Charlotte - and having everything shipped ( car/furniture/goods)what precautions do I need to follow, taking her on the plane with me? Can I give her something to ease the stress? Any personal experience with this? I have a small dog cart for her that has a built in perch, just wonder how the pressure effects them

I wanted to see how you Potty Trained your AG - I'm trying to praise her everytime she goes on the cage or on her stand and then take her to play, but it just doesnt seem like its catching on, she just wants her head scratched and lay upside down.

Dan thank you again - I want to go ahead and order that but thinking whats the difference between that floor lamp and a regular one I'd be able to get from lowes? I want to angle it over her cage but like that I can fold it down when I'm home. Is it just the bulb that screws in? Does that kit you gave the link for include the bulb or that needs to be purchased also?

I'm looking for smaller bulb time that I can buy that way I can put it in a lamp next to the cage - her cage set up wont allow me to hang it above. Can I just put two bulbs in a normal lamp light? sorry to sound ignorant just want to make sure I do it correct

Hello, Who uses full spectrum lighting? Cloe's previous home swears by it but I can’t seem to find any good options as a free standing fixture next to her cage. Any recommendations? Thanks

Hello, Wanted to post some pictures of her first day home, I've since changed around the cage to more what she wanted - but she still isn't all that interested in her toys, rather just sit on top and watch tv. I would highly recommend this cage was only 189 + 100 shipping - I can send the link to anyone if interested. Shes really is good being handled just likes to keep her beak on you either rubbing or lightly snipping think shes still feeling me out as a hand perch - I'm also finding it difficult getting her attention with treats (during training time) as all she wants is peanuts. She also hasn't spoke since I took her home - where she was chatting all the time in her previous home, anyone have this happen?

Hello, Wanted to see if anyone can provide articles/links to help on training my new grey. I want to start off with small things like Wave(foot), turn around, head movement yes , head movement no, Show Wings, put a circle around a ring, shoot basketballs etc Shes awesome at stepping up, and coming when called, just want to keep challenging her with new activities/tasks.

The site takes a while for me to navigate from screen to screen- not really sure why. She is 3 years old - and mostly staying at the top section of the cage, not willing to venture around much which is totally understandable. Hopefully the picture will attach this time and I can get some good ideas on where to relocate the perches, I'm hoping she uses the whole cage and not juse the upper portion. Regarding the Peanut debate- I've read it a few times and she's been snacking on organic non-salted peanuts now for three years - so hard to get her off of them - her normal diet is Harrisons - adult formula. So far she's chowed down on some corn/bannana/blueberries & almonds.

hello, Today will be the first day I take my grey home, and if you could please help me with perch placement I would greatly appreciate it. I currently have 4 perches and want to make sure I place them correctly. 1 - Long perch that goes accross the bottom of the cage think It should go inbetween both food bowls (left side & right side(1 bowl)) - Was thinking about two perches on the higher section of the house - Concrete Perch & Rope perch and the 4th down underneath the playpen. Want to see what your grey's fav snack is - mine loves peanuts. Thanks
