Thank you so much for the respond, I figured she was doing something like that. It's like she rules the place. I always afraid of balling my fist and not showing her that im the boss because I didnt want to give her the impression of me being a jerk to her. But I will start to play the game with her

Please help.. i really want to fix this...she all the toys...always let her out...get all treats...she lives like a queen and still we get nips?
  4. yup, she's still on formula. She's starting to refuse more and more though. can't wait til she's off for good.
  5. Wow, how neat! how old was she when you got her? I got mine when she was 4 weeks old.
  6. Well thank you, nope Bella is now 13 weeks. Aww, Im engaged to a General Contractor here in Florida. Thanks for the inquiry though Does he own his own firm or working for an firm? I know he enjoys what he does, because I know I do. It's a such fun and interesting career.
  7. It's me, Bella's mom :cheer: :side:  :silly:
  8. It's weird because, he never thought he would have a bird since he didn't know much about them as far as care... He's always had dogs. I grew up with parrots so I told him all about it and he's like great ill buy you and my mom a baby grey... so after the grey in house he just fell in love with how great they are!
  9. ya i figured i would just let her be.. but the times I do wanna let her out, her flying is outta control. What should I do? start clipping her? she just turned 13 weeks... her flight is so developed its like she just fly away!
  10. I've hand fed 4 greys and a cockatoo, but with the Hyacinth, as they are a little sensitive, Im letting the breeder hand feed... im going to let him wean too. I just don't wanna risk anything, as he'll never be able to be replaced. but yes that is a lot of bird!! I mean housing him is going to be a "big project" itself!
  11. Oh my god!!! my fiance just bought me a Hyacinth Macaw!!!! He's only 5 weeks old!! I almost fell to the floor! they have always been my dream parrot!
  12. Good day! I have a little problem, Bella just goes nuts to be let out of the cage when she sees someone go upstairs... well of course we do... as soon as we do she takes off flying! I mean it's getting to the point that it's scary... She wont sit still unless we rub her head... but there she goes flying! I need serious help!!!! Im so lost!
  13. Bella is 13 weeks today, she flies everywhere and lands just fine, she's even picked out spots through out the house where she knows are landable hard surfaces... We would like to take her out, or even perch her in the back yard while we sit out and mingle... should I consider a harness? Im not familiar with them at all! I need advise... I just wanna be able to take her places without having to worry... I don't want to clip her just yet either... maybe later down the road. Please help :woohoo: thanks kindly in advance
  14. Thanks alot! ya, she's taken over the pool table. As soon we sit at the computer desk she's flying to the computer desk... she's so spoiled!
