  1. WOW.....thanks Dave. I did not know that about the first major molt. Also I appreciate it greatly that you told me where to get the Aloe juice. I drove to a few different stores today and no one knew of it. I will be heading to wal-mart in the morning. Thanks again Jason
  2. He just turned a year last month. I used aloe oil. Mostly picking on the breast and back. He's been leaving the softer down feathers underneath and only taking the main feathers on top.
  3. He started it about a week ago. Ive oiled him for dry skin. Covered him earlier in case it was a lack of sleep. Increased the number of toys. I can'y figure out what made him start. Heeelllllp
  4. I'm going to do that. Heading over to bed bath and beyond today.
  5. As it turned out, he gave up on the pellets he had in there all together. I noticed that there was a significant decrease in the frquency of droppings. The sound he was making was because he was hungry. Even though he was getting his daily veggie mix he was not taking in enough. I actually brought him into the bird specialty store where I got him and let him try different pellets to see which he would eat. He didn't eat any of them until I got to the Zeigler. He ate thos right up and has been on them since. He is now back to his Happy self.
  6. Oh what to do. Happy is nine months old and has not seen a drop of baby formula in 2 months. He has been eating pellets and a veggy mix as well as almonds as snacks. And now all of a sudden when he sees me he starts doing this chirping sound with that hi pitched whistle and fluffs up the feathers around the head. All of which appears that he wants to be fed. I offered him his pellets by hand and he refused them. I even tried another brand of pellets. This afternoon I cut up an apple and he tasted it but left it after a couple of bites. What do I do? this incessant begging is making me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Over the last few days when I take my cag out for some play time. He sits with me and just constantly makes this little chirping noise. He is now 9 months old. I can't figure this out. Like right now he's sitting on the play stand just chirping-CONSTANTLY_. Making me nuts. When he goes back in he talks up a storm. When he is out it sounds like a smoke alarm when the battery is low. Is it some sort of baby thing? Someone explain it please.
