He will be 1yr old at the end of the month. He has been saying his name in a real low voice and some other stuff I can't understand yet. His is suck a happy guy..
What I mean is, friends come over and want to instantly pet my Oscar. He doent know these new faces or has limited contact with them and they approch him with there big hand over him and he gets nervouse. Which I totaly understand, but my guests thinks its odd. I explain to the that how would you feel if everytime you were aproched with a huge hand over your head? It took him at least a month before he trusted me... i think i need to let guests know to only chat with him no petting???
he has been exploring his playtop more and more. can you give me tips on how to tell him its time to go in his cage? he really likes plastic bottle tops...
I'm sure it is spelled wrong. I ordered a few things from perch party and enclosed was a big block of balso wood. Is this good for my grey to chew on? its supper soft wood.

Well after waiting 4 months I picked up Oscar yesterday. He is really sweet and very intrested in everything. So far he loves carrotts, corn and peas. So far my lab is not intrested in him at all, unless he drops a carrott out of his cage.
I'll have pics soon,
Kenny
Hi All,
I'm picking up my grey next sunday. When I bring it home and put the bird in its new cage, should I leave it empty and introduce toys or already have them hanging in there?
Thanks Kenny
Hi Judygram,
