i am so excited nella and i were cuddling today and i think i felt what were 2 or 3 very thick pinlike feathers on her bottom so thank goodness they are coming back yay!!!:silly:

i have a sun conure and found this page via a search engine while trying to figure out whats going on with my nella girl. she is losing her tail feathers...the rest of her is in a molt so possibly thats what it is? right now she has only about3 tailfeathers left. is it normal for her to molt them all at once or should i take her to the vet? we have had no changes in the house and she is acting as normal as she always has lol so i really dont think she is stressed or plucking.the quill looks normal there is no blood. please help!
