I keep reading that greys should primarily be on a pellet diet. Where im living, in Saudi Arabia, it is impossible to buy. Its slim pickings in the way of parrot food out here. I have a choice of Trill or Vitakraft. I go for the Vitakraft. It seems to have more nutritional value than trill and has bits of dried fruit, some pellets and very little sunflower seeds. Does anyone know if this is good/not good for greys?

Hi all, I was looking for a little info, if anyone can help. I have had a CAG, for the past 2 years. Im curious to find out if he (or she) is male or female. Im living in Saudi Arabia and the local vet tells me it is very expensive to DNA test a grey here. I was told that in the UK, its costs around 20GBP. Can anyone steer me in the right direction for DNA testing in the UK? Richard
