Hello My African Grey is almost a year old and he has just started to do a little flying. Two weeks ago he started to drop both wings and make some wierd moaning sound just for a second. Is that normal. He is in perfect health and is happy and flaps his feathers and does all the normal stuff but just drops his feathers every now and then. What do you think?

Lee : Hello, I am a 41 year old mother of two children. My daughter is 20 and my son is 15. About 5 years ago I noticed that my kids were not needing me as much as I needed them to need me. Therefore, my husband bought me a cockatoo. I have been head over heels in love with birds every since. My whole life is devoted to my birds. I have 3 cockatoos, 1 African Grey, 2 Parrots, 4 conures, 1 Macaw. They are all spoiled rotten and are just like my little kids that will always be 2 years old. I am not a breeder. I just love giving these loving, sensative little beings a wonderful home.
