YES I GUESS HER DOCTOR WAS RIGHT AFTER ALL

ALSO HER FIRST AND SHE IS FOURTEEN YEARS OLD THE PEOPLE I GOT HER FROM THOUGHT SHE WAS MALE

MY BIRD IS LAYING EGGS SHE APPEARS TO WANT TO SET THEM IM NOT SURE IF I SHOULD TAKE THEM OR LET HER SET THEM ACTUALLY ONLY ONE SO FAR JUST THIS MORNING I EXPECT THEY WILL BE MORE

just got dna results back echo is a she guess vet did guess right after all funny now she looks like a girl

i should know in a few days if he is a she i sent off feathers to dna expecting a she could be wrong

well echo got mad and plucked feathers. i thought we were over that! the people who gave him to me came to see him he didnot like it, after they left he pulled feathers again. they talked about taking him home with them to visit ,i dont think its a good idea i dont know what to do he clearly doesnt want them around. we were doing great he had lots of feathers coming in now hes pulled them so we start over i love this bird and he loves me im afraid if they take him they wont bring him back he just got a new cage powder coated has had three trips to vet

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW RELIABLE THE FEATHER TESTING IS

yes it was a general observation he didnt really know and yes he is a avian vet echo loves oatmeal and he likes to drink any thing thats warm he loves grapes ,apples eggs he just doesnt like pellets but i keep offering him some maybe someday he will eat some but he looks great when i picked him up he looked like a picked chicken now he has feathers not all yet but some vet said he thought he would get them all back

yes and he said possibly femail because he is of smaller size he said nutraberries is better food

ONLY PROBLEM MY LITTLE QUAKER ROCKY IS SO GETS MAD FOR HIM EVEN BEING AROUND I HOPE THAT GETS BETTER THEY RUN ME RAGGED TRYING TO GIVE THEM BOTH ATTENTION BUT EVERYTHINGS GOING GOOD

SORRY I HAVENT BEEN ON I HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY THEN MY COMPUTER CRASHED BUT ECHO IS DOING GREAT HE LOVES ME A LITTLE TO MUTCH MAYBE THE VET SAYS HE MAY ACTUALLY BE A SHE SHE OR HE IS SMALL COMPARED TO THE ONES I HAVE SEENVET KEEPS CALLING HIM A SHE MAYBE HE CAN TELL BY LOOKING BUT HES DOING GREAT EATING GOOD BUT DOESNT LIKE PELLETS VET WANTS HIM TO EAT NUTRABERRIES SAYS THATS THE BEST THING FOR HIM HE ACTUALLY LOVES THEM AS LONG AS ITS TROPICAL FRUIT HIS FEATHERS ARE STARTING TO COME IN HE HASENT PULLED ANY IN TWO WEEKS

allso he is between twelve and fifteen years old

i picked him up this morning i think he is great worries me he was in a home made galvanized cage thats a no no right from what ive allways heard thats not good he has been plucking but no bare spots just downy hope it gets better he is eating and drinking and he likes me so allis good so far

and i also think my life will be better with him and yes t know birds but i have never owned a gray i have a quaker four parakeets a canary and a cockatiel but we will be great

update i called im supposed to pick him up tomorrow if all goes well they backed out of giving him up then changed their mind again and told me to come get him i hope all goes well i have to drive a hundred miles to get him but thats fine i just dont want to get there and then they change their mind again i really want this bird to have a better life

IM NOT SURE OF HIS AGE BUT IM THINKING THEY HAVE HAD HIM AT LEAST THREE YEARS BUT I WILL FIND OUT IM GOING TO CALL AND SEE IF I CAN COME GET HIM INSTEAD OF WAITING ON THEM TO BRING HIM TO ME

YES I KNOW ABOUT QUARINTEEN HE WILL BE STAYING IN MY ROOM FOR A WHILE HOPEFULLY HE WILL GET TO KNOW ME THAT WAY THEY SAID HE WAS A VERY FRIENDLY BIRD BUT I THOUGHT MY QUAKER WAS TO BUT I FOUND OUT THAT HE DOES NOT LIKE STRANGERS

FROM WHAT THEY TELL ME THEY GO OUT OF TOWN FOR THREE TO SEVEN DAYS AND HE STAYS HOME ALONE EXCEPT FOR HIS MOM COMES OVER AND GIVES HIM FOOD AND WATER I SHOULD BE GETTING HIM THIS WEEK SOMETIME

I AM RESQUEING A GRAY WHO STAYS AT HOME SOMTIMES WEEKS I THINK I HAVE TALKED THEM INTO GIVING HIM TO ME SO HE WILL HAVE A GOOD HONE AND FRIEND HE DOES NOT KNOW ME HOW LONG SHOULD I EXPECT BEFORE HE ACCEPTS ME AND IS NOT AFRAID I CANT WAIT TO HAVE FUN WITH HIM MY NAME IS JANIE
