  1. Mojo is 13 weeks and 4 days lol so not me  xx
  2. Ok Thank You for both of your replies . . . . I'm not sure that he is being territorial as if he realises that he isnt coming out and he is on my arm or head I can half get into the cage with him and move his toys around and also pick up things off the bottom of his cage and he doesnt seem to mind that? I think the nip is to see if my hand/arm is stable as watching him he treats my arm the same as he treats the perches and ropes in his cage love nooeyx

  6. Hello Peeps When I open the cage to let Mojo out he doesnt come out on his own (even though I have set up perches that would be real easy for him to get out on his own because of the next bit I am going to write) . . . . What he does is I put my hand into his cage asking if he wants to come out and he clearly does he is chatting and squarwking and then he before I can get my hand that near to him just launches himself at my hand teeth (beak) and claws and whomp I know that it isnt an aggressive bite but gee whiz it is powerful I dont pull back and then as soon as he is out he runs up my arm and gives me little gentle kisses on my arm on the way up and my neck. The other problem with the twiddling of my skin on my arm has gone he learnt the word gentley in a day bless him Love to you ALL nooeyxx and Mojo x
  7. Hello My Lovlies I was just wondering what do you feed your grey in a day A friend of mine feeds her grey veggies and fruit for brekkie and pulses and cooked beans for lunch and then his grey seed mix for tea? 9. The advice is to avoid mushrooms so the books say as some of them are highly toxic for parrots and some arent but the only way to be safe really is to just avoid them its the same as with advocado pear only certain parts of it are toxic but its not worth taking the chance with our most beloved birdies nooey and mojo x
  10. I have read somewhere in one of my many grey books that I have that they often vibrate their tummy feathers it is completley normal and it isnt to do with nervousness or anything. My grey does it when he sits on my hand in the evening and he stretches one leg and wing then the other then he balls up one of his feet and his tummy quivers he then grinds his beak and shuts his eyes. Hope this helps nooeyxx
  11. Hello Everyone Sorry I havent posted for a while things went a bit mad here and well to cut a long story short (for now anyway) as you all know I have visited several babies and I kept coming back to the nibbling one . . . . Well I decided well he decided I was the mum for him and well I went ahead and said that I would have him . . . . my partner then said that we wouldnt be able to go on holiday for a good while (and when we eventually do we are going to take him but it wont be for a long while yet) so we decided to go away on a quick holiday (very last minute) just down to Selsey (only bout 40ish miles from us but to the coast) so we did and then on the way home today we picked up MOJO he is 13 weeks and 1 day today Got him home and out of his carrier he came and straight into my bowl of fruit for some strawberries, grapes and apple yummy yummy (he ate it all up) then we had a cuddle and a play and now he is tucked up in his brand new cage on a hoop ring (cotton) fast asleep after some preening chirping and beak grinding I am exhausted and so is he so early night for both of us and I will be back tomorrow to tell more Love to you ALL and Thank You for everyones support with my recent misadventures etc but all seems to be well in our household now Eric who we got him from said he is very bold and he was right head first into everything bit of a hooligan a loverbly one but a hooligan love nooey and Mojo xx
