How many have TAGs How would describe your birds personality? Same for CAGs. Just would like to know. Thanks for the input.

I just asked the breeder to keep me informed on the arival of her baby so I can give her a deposit. Still won't know for a little while. I think I will let fate decide for me if I am to get a CAG or TAG. I like them both. Mabe I will get one of each ha ha:P

Here in WA stat, they are available at a couple of bird stores. The lady at the pet store is going to see if one of the breeders that she trust is going to have any. She will bring it to her home and hand feed it until it is almost ready and then let me feed it and interact with it while we wait for it to be weaned. She is realy great. I like to talk to her and watch her play with the birds in her shop. So it won't be till next month that I can even put a deposit on one. It is so hard to wait. Good things come to those who wait,YES? Thanks to those who have given their advise and to those whom are about to give it.

life does change with the weather. I keep going back to the greys. I went to some more stores and found a couple of Greys, read more on the Amazons, and my choice always comes back to the Grey. Only now I have one more choice to make. I know I want a Grey and I know where I want to purchase it from but I don't know if I want a TAG or CAG? I think I lean more to the TAGs for some reason. I like to see them both and like the colors on both. Any com. on your personal choices?

I have read every-thing I could find, and have been to several of the pet stores and bird shops around here. I have decided to purchase from one owner. The bird itself is what I can't decide on. She has an Amazon comming in three weeks and an CAG in four weeks. She is also looking into the TAGs for me. I know I will find one out of the ones she is bringing in. She has been helpfull and informative. I always love the Greys and continue to go back to wanting one of them over any others. She said her Grey doesn't usually go to other people and she will go to me. I love the TAG I also petted at another store. I also like the coloring of the BFAmazon. I want to let the bird pick me if poss. Just looking for comm. Thanks;)

I want a bird that is playful,somewhat social (to take with me places), and that will be ok at home if I only spend about two or three hours at night with it. I know birds like to squak, and talk, but I can't have one that is real loud all the time. My boyfriend works graveyard. I just love both types of birds. Cost is not a factor. I am ok with it being a one person bird as long as the bird is not really bad about the other person. Thanks for any input.

I am also selling my ball pythons, and getting a AG. The snakes spend most of the time under a rock. If you want to have interaction and a companion, the AG is the way to go. RC:cheer:

I miss my Hercules (Boxer) I just had to put him down last Friday. I know all about the guilt thing. Am I doing the right thing,can I help him in any way, and again did I do the right thing? Over and over we think about this. The vet and my best friend keep telling me that it was the best thing for him, but doing the rite thing is so HARD. I will miss him for a long time. A responsible pet owner always has to think about our pets and not just think about ourselves. Back to the main subjuct "Does any one have both" or has had one then the other,what is your pref.thanks Roxanne

I know this question has been asked many times but I am new. I have read about the differences between the CAG and the TAG's. How many have both and wich one do you tend to like more, and why. Books can only tell you so much, people that have birds at home can tell you so much more. Trying to decide what bird to get. Details,details, please. I want to learn all I can. Thanks!:cheer:

Sad news! I can't get a AG for a little while longer. I took my Boxer to the vet and he cost me a bunch of money to try and save him. I wanted to save him so bad but I couldn't see him in pain. I did what we thought was best for my boy, I had the vet put him to rest. He had a large growth in the inside of his tummy that was causing him alot of pain. Enough sadness, I hope to get a AG soon.:dry:

It depends on each horse , not just one breed. I have had a couple of Thoroughbreds that were sweet as can be and mello yet had a Quarter that spooked at everything. I love my Arabs and Arab/Quarter horses the best. I think I just love animals in general I can handle cautious. I also can't wait to save up enough money to purchase a AG. I just had to take my boxer to the vet and that set me back quite a bit. Hopefully by September I should have enough.

Thanks, been there. I am goint to see if I can find one at the bird show in sept. just to get more reading and looking done. I have been looking at the ones in pet stores and handling them. I want to be sure without a dought that this is what I want to do. Just got a big stack of books from the library. Thanks;)
