I just wanted to say thanks again for all of your wonderful help!!! As of right now our meeting is set for Thursday. I cant wait to meet him and then tell you all about him. I feel as if I am eating, breathing, and sleeping grey's--and it's fine with me! Stay tuned, and we'll all find out more together!

Thank you all for your advice. I am meeting him this week, and I am going to find out everything I can from his owner. I know she has been taking good care of him and he has been socialized. I am so excited to meet him and I want to do all I can to make him comfortable. I would love to hear anything else that you all think I should know or be ready for:lol: I've learned alot so far, from here, school, and books. I've wanted a grey for years now, so I've been researching for quite a while. As soon as I have my first meeting, I will let you all know how it goes, and what he is like. I am new to your group and trying to read all the posts I can. But I need some help. I am adopting a grey from a home that can no longer keep him for personal reasons, not because of him. He's an older bird (around 8-10yrs) and I was wondering if anyone had some advice about the best way to introduce an older bird to a new home. I really want his transition to be as smooth and stress free as I can make it. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
