  1. Thank you for the advice Acappella! I'll definitely be more observant of Lola's body language as well. So far she's really enthusiastic, I take her outside the cage in the morning and when she get son my finger she gives me kisses and cimbs onto my shoulder. Im guessing her previous owner taught her about the kisses? Anyways so far she loves human contact especially with my mom and dad
  2. Thank you everyone for the encouragement, we actually took the child proof wire off last night. She hasn't done anything to my little brother, they just stare at each other for periods of time lol. She's adapting great
  3. It's night time over here so these were the only shots I could get. Tomorrow I'll take better quality pictures
  4. Lola finally came to my house today, Nathan was really excited to see Lola. I introduced him to her and everything went great! I'm sure everything will be fine over time Thank you for the suggestion.
  5. Hello everyone, I'm brand new to the forums and my name is Mickey. About a year ago one of my friends had to move to another state and for some reason couldnt take his Grey with him. I always go to his house where his Grey, Lola, is and she's grown accustomed to me and they offered to give her to me. I'm very excited but I do have a few questions. Lola is 20 years old and I wanted to know if there's any kind of special food or vitamins to purchase for her as well as my primary concern being my 4 year old little brother, Nathan. Nathan has Autism and I'm afraid he might put his fingers in the cage and Lola, not knowing Nathan, might bite his fingers. Is there any way to make the cage child proof? Any help would be deeply appreciated
