  1. Thanks for the advise guys, will take him to a vet soon. For the time being i'll jus be biased n call him a 'HE'
  2. Is there any way to find out if my CAG is a male or female? Also i'm not very sure how old my grey is. but he weighs around 425 gms. Any clues?? Coco....
  3. When i first got Coco, stripping off n destroying the perches was his only entertainment. Whenever he was kept in the cage n got bored, he wud attack the perch. Not quite sure what type of wood it was, but surely soft enuf for him to bite n strip off. i wud replace the perches occasionally but then it became a lil too troublesome n the perches were not readily available n i had to ask a carpenter to fabricate them for me everytime. I finally replaced those perches with teak wood from India. now teak wood isnt soo pricy for nothing. ;-)it sure is very strong n Coco cant destroy them anymore. But hey, i havnt deprived him of his biting n chewing urges. I get him those doggy raw hide sticks. those are small enuf for him chew n bite on n also he seems to enjoy them more than the perches !!! Anyone else tried those raw hide sticks? i've read somewhere that they are safe???
  4. Thank u everyone for the sound advice. will definately check that site for further info. relieved to know that green/white poop is normal. Ciao, Caven
  5. Hi All !! Its been 2 months since i hav Coco with me n steadily learning more about Cag's to care better for him. just curious to know if one can ascertain the health of a grey by looking at the color of the poop? I've been feeding him a combination of sunflower seeds n mixed parrot food (prestige) n also fruits n some veggies. (he doesnt eat much veggies) I only see green n white colors inhis poop. Is this normal? Caven
