Yeah you canwork something out for I have a grey and a sun conure and they don't get along but they do co-exist in the same room just not near each other. My conure usually spends the time on my shoulder while the grey is on her playstand, works for me.
Mark if you could capture that on video of Max dropping those pennies in the pot we would love to see that, especially the part where he leans forward to drop it in, I'll bet Max is hilarious to watch.
Well I guess you can't believe everything you read, Oggie can talk and it just took him awhile to do so, but now the words and phrases will pour out of him, congrats on him talking after all, just when you thought he never would, bam, he surprises you with hello.
Time is running out if you haven't filed yet, but I have so no worries here.B)
That sounds like it was the right thing to do, bring him in to the temperature he was used to then gradually lowering it until it reached your normal room temperature and it worked, excellent!!!

LOL I would never accuse you of something like that, now that is funny:laugh: hope you have a sense of humor for I do.
And you can just call me Judy, so he goes nuts over strangers, wow he really is a one person grey, some are like that and now we know why his name is Monster, fits.
Amber most greys do not get along with other birds and even other greys unless they are clutch mates, thats just how they are and you cannot force it either. I would keep them separated for the sake of the smaller bird.
Johnny, she is one of the nicest women you will ever have the priviledge to chat with, a very warm and caring person to anyone and everyone on this forum of course don't tell her I said that, it will give her a swell head if you catch my drift:laugh:
If you have ever watched chickens scratching in the dirt for bugs and seeds that is what it is like and my Josey still does it and she is going on 2 years old next month, but it is funny to watch them do it.
Hello Fairymyst78 and welcome to the family, so glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and this new grey you are getting.
Yes if you introduce the wheelchair early on your baby will get used to it quickly and never know any difference. I hope when you do go visit you are able to go inside as the breeder probably will not be able to bring it out to you.
These next few months will feel like the longest time you have ever spent but it will be worth it when you finally get to bring that baby home and then you will have a lifetime to enjoy your new grey.

We would enjoy seeing pictures of your new baby when you do go visit or certainly by the time you bring it home.
Hello Johnny and welcome to the family, so glad you decided to join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Monster, now that is one of the most unusual names I have heard for a grey.
I am curious as to how you came to name him Monster, he certainly can't be like a little monster, he must be sweet as sugar and not at all spoiled is he!!!

Hello Hjcruzer and welcome to the family, so glad you decided to join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Tiki.
One suggestion for getting her used to the cage is not to allow her to just jump out on you whenever you open the door, make some routine times she is allowed to come out of her cage to interact and play with you. She will get used to the cage soon especially if you don't run to her and let her out every time she sees you, she will eventually come to see her cage as her sanctuary.
