  1. I think Erika will love it, I love it, thanks Dave.
  2. I don't think they were hurting him, it more scared him than anything else but to check him over they have to handle him and some take it better than others.
  3. Caitlin, Ecko's life has just begun but you have wonderful pictures to remember him by as he grows into a handsome fella, thanks for sharing yours with us, can't wait to see some others.
  4. Oh that is a wonderful one Dave, I think you missed your calling, thanks for these for those who asked and I can't wait to hear the others.
  5. Yes they are and I agree with your three choices of beautiful large birds and they are best admired from a small distance.
  6. AnnaBella is a gorgeous grey and you do her proud by the pictures you take of her and it is interesting to see how she has developed over time, yes I love the dark eyes of the babies. Thanks for sharing this with us Heather and I hope others will follow with theirs.
  7. Yeah more vegetables for Jacko then and less of those high calorie treats. I don't know if that is a compliment about him being one of the stronger birds but I guess he has quite a bite and who would know better than you, guess your vet knows too.
  8. Very good Dave, you do such a good job on these.
  9. This is especially good Dave, Jen should be very pleased.
  10. I know you are nervous and I was the same way the first time I left Josey for a week but don't fret about him, he will be fine and a little time away will make him appreciate you more when you get back. Of course you will be checking on him everyday or night, you have the excuse of wanting to talk to your bf, I got cha.
  11. Just explain to him before you leave that you will be gone for two weeks and others will be taking care of him and you will be back, they understand more than what we give them credit for and I doubt he will be mad at you when you get back, quite the opposite, he will be so glad. It looks to me like you have about all the bases covered, those step by step instructions should be all that is needed to ensure Willis is properly taken care of so now go and enjoy yourself.
  12. I'm sorry your previous purchase of a baby grey fell thru but sometimes when one door closes another one opens and it did for you and now you are looking ahead to a baby grey coming to your home. Thats great that you will get to help in it's care until it is ready for it's new home and I can't wait to hear all about your visits with him/her.
  13. Jeepers knows a good thing when he sees it, thanks for sharing this video with us, he is very pretty.
  14. I have never tried the power treats, maybe I should get Josey some and try them.
  15. Thats great to hear and I hope you hear good news on Saturday also, thanks for letting us know.
  16. "Ah ha, I knew that was hiding under there"
  17. He's a poet and didn't know it, you do have the talent to come up with these rhymes and you do a good job with it, I can't wait to hear the next one.
  18. He had no idea what can of worms he just opened by that line of his, men, they never learn do they:laugh: :pinch:  B)
  19. Then that explains it, I wondered how you could have the four of them loose outside without them flying away but it is done in such a way as you do not notice it from the pictures except that third one, it is bigger than the others. Thats where I would spend a lot of time too if I had that nice back porch. B)
  20. I very seriously doubt it but we do have some members here with more than one grey who will give you some opinions on that.
  21. Glad to hear Grace is doing well, thanks for letting us know.
  22. Do you have some kind of screen material up to enclose that area, it looks like it from one of the pics, the one with Ecko being cute?
  23. Some greys will get cranky when they are molting because the new pin feathers irritate them and their skin will get a little dry from the shedding of the sheath that surrounds the new feather. Some don't like to even be touched for it is painful but others will take it in stride and you won't notice any differences. You will likely see a feather from time to time which in itself means nothing, sometimes they lose one or two from playing rough.
  24. You have a very nice backyard for your fids to enjoy some outside time and fresh air, Ecko is enjoying himself very much and the camera too, thanks for sharing these with us.
  25. I don't think it took him more than 10 minutes tops, he is good, real good, can't wait to see what he comes up for yours Jen:whistle:
