One of my greys has a super vocab. Some of his funnier things are: I'm sooooo smart...... I can talk Rock a bye baby....... Thats not a problem. What you need to watch out for is what you tell the dog when he barks. One of our greys tells the dogs to shutup. He may pick up on the barking but i wouldn't think it would be something that he would drive you crazy with.

You might look on theperch.net It's a great bird board and they have a large group world wide. You might be able to find someone there close to you. Also run and add for pet sitting in the classifieds you could interview people and may come up with a great person - I would also check with my vet to see if he knows any other birdie people he could put you in contact with. I tried also and it wouldn't work for me. they were the same pics that I had loaded on another site. What are the pic size restrictions?

I wouldn't try to much with her at their house / It's her terf and she's acust. to not getting any attention out of the cage. But things will change quickly once you get her back and show her that your not afraid of her. Take it slow but keep up small steps forward and she will be your girl again in no time. I have never heard this or seen it - 8 out of my nine parrots it doesn't faze them - I do have one ekkie that hates it and she will crawl up onto the top of her cage and spred her wings so I try to make sure she goes into another room
