Hmm I dunno, my grey took to it right away. I would ask your vet or give a call over to Harrison's for suggestions. For a long while Dr. Harrison was our vet, but he is no longer in practice and concentrates on the bird food.

My grey eat Harrison's food and has done very well on it. No more feather picking.

Annie my grey gets in moods. She is very tempermental and stubborn, would rather die than give in. I just give her her space when she is like that and let her sit on my knee but don't try to pet her if she has indicated it isn't welcome.

Yes I have two parrots, one Grey and one severe. No attachments allowed? The Grey is Annie and the Severe is Sydney. Annie sez she is much more attractive than either of the two that are pictured in the forum header btw.

My grey is very tame but still bites once in a while. They are still wild animals and need to be treated with that caution and respect.

Are there no rules here?
