Thank you all for your advice. We went to the New Orleans Bird Show over the weekend with thoughts of getting a grey. However, we fell head over heals for an eleven week old Vosmaeri Eclectus(we take her home in four to five weeks, once weaned). We had gone to a booth to discuss the grey on the breeders shoulder, when Jolie (the Eclectus he was selling) dazzled us. After talking with the breeder, we decided to wait on a grey. We are new to raising birds and feel that an Eclectus is the right choice for now. Thanks again for all your advice!!! ~Carissa

A few questions....We we are debating between buying a fully weaned young bird and one that still needs two hand feedings. We are also trying to decide between getting one or two greys. Any advice?
