  1. I am getting very excited about having Zoey back and yes,I am keeping very positive and confident that I can win her back over. I have only seen her a few times in the past 2 yrs, but each time she came close to me from inside of her cage and listened very intently when I talked to her as though she remembered my voice : ) Judy
  2. Hi FairY Thanks for the advise, I am not "taking" her from him. He and his mom both decided they wanted to give her up. They feel she isnt getting the attention she deserves. I had nothing to do with their decision. I got a phone call out of the blue. I am not a cruel person : ) Judy

  4. Hi Everyone......I am new to this site and have some questions. I bought and owned a Congo African Grey, 5 years ago,( I finished her hand feeding and weaned her) I had her and cared for her for over 2 years, she was very bonded to me and gentle when she left my care, due to circumstances I had to sell her and my niece bought her, I have not been around her much since this time, as my niece lives a distance away. I am now in the position to once again care for her and I will be getting her back. She "Zoey" bonded with my nieces 14 yr old son since being with her new owners, she has not been handled by them as they were never comfortable enough to try, but she takes treats from nephew and is calm etc in his presence, but with my niece she always seemed to show a disfavor.... My question is : Do you think she will remember me and once again bond with me to the extent that I will be able to handle her again??? How do you suggest I make this transition and move easy for her? Thanks!! Judy
