Hello! I am a 28 year old norwegian looking into buying a pair of african greys. Breeding is the ultimate dream, but the birds themselves are just so nice and interesting.
I have found an owner of 2 greys who are selling because she is very ill. The male grey is 5 years, and the female grey is 2,5 years. They come along quite well, i am told, and they share the same cage.
What are the odds for these greys to breed, if all known rules followed, regarding to their age etc. They have not lived together for more than a year, but are now getting along much better than they did.
How old must the female become before she is mature enough to breed?
Greetings,
