So I have been wanting to take home a grey ever since I was a kid, but had to wait until I had the time and means to do so. I have done my research and am prepared for the commitment and know what it takes to own one of these birds! I have decided I want a Timneh grey, and I have the option to take one home who is 8 months old. Is this considered an older bird that would be more difficult to adapt to a new home? Would perhaps a slightly younger grey be easier and more readily adjust to its new environment? Any advice would help! Thanks.
