I bought my second bird cuz I left home for work everyday feeling horrible.. BUT.. I honestly think he didnt mind being alone a work day.. It hought they would keep eachother entertained.. BUT when she "sings" very loudly, I can see he gets annoyed.. SOOO.. I have ended up with two greys, who both probably would choose to be the only bird:P But now I love em both.. and they seem OK with each other... (they have only known eachother for about 5 -6 weeks.. )

I can't help it.. I find it a bit funny.. (I have no problems with swearing tho) Its just like with kids.. they say things they get reactions on.. I find Sweaing parrots cool tho.. (mine don't, I do:P) The parrot at the shop here say.. "uuughhh, grumpy customers" hahaha.. og well.. not much help from me, my parrots still say things that they have learned at their previous homes.. She more that him.. he is in a "peekabooo" and singing period:P anyways, good luck.. =)

I do leave the tv on ..(but it have a four hour timer I haven't managed to remove. But I live in the girst floor, with a busy street outside, and they gave each other to listen to (two greys) I don't have the tv on so they can learn to talk from it. Only for entertainment:) I have it on a classical channel or just a normal Norwegian one with morning shows and stuff:)

haha.. thanks... yeah.. they are still in different cages tho.. but she walks across he room and climbs up to him all the time:P as you see in the pic.. shes thin, and he's a bit "bigboned" lol.. she eats more than him tho.. but just pellets and some fruit (not much).. he eats whatever I give him:P but Ive managed to get her on a healthier pellet.. so I hope it will all work out fine.. She Is seriously the funniest bird.. I came out of the shower today with wet hair.. and she looked at me and went.. "oohh wee, are we taking a shower??" In this very cool norwegian dialect:P omg.. I laughed so hard:P

thanks all! I've been moving and stuff so havent meen on... soooo ... a month ago I became the proud owner of a new CAG girl "Shani baby" She's 6 years old.. and a super girl.. her feathers are chewed and not that good.. but I'm working on it=)

I have one of those.. I also got the fleeze cover... (cus I live in Norway.. its cold here).. Very happy with it.. I also had it close to his cage a couple of weeks first.. He don't LIKE to get in it.. but he have to.. and he seems happy when he's in it=)

oh.. thats good.. i suddnely got scared I did something very wrong.. I have a timer on mine.. sooo smart. wakes us both up.. and riminds us of when its night:P It also makes it easy getting him back in his cage, cuz he knows its nighttime=)

what?? Only 4 hours a day? I was told 12 hours.. (8 to 8 og 9 to 9..)

ahh.. Sweet story.. She sounds perfect!. but yeah.. you should go to the vet and check her number just to see that everything is OK . it might just be that her loving ways are from an old owner;).. she have probably had some..

Hi all! . so.. three weeks ago i became the owner of a 12 year old grey guy.. Its been great, he's a real talker, he surprises me every single day.. He's very into... destroying things:p So I've bought chewable toys for him.. He loooves them=) He also talks at "correct times" and that keeps on surprising me also.. like "goodbye", "hello" "good morning" "good night" "auch" and stuff like that.. He's so smart.. can open anything, and find solutions to problems. What an incredible pet. Cant wait to learn more about this birds, and to get to know hum better=)
