Oscar, a 3.5 year old CAG eats Pellkets, Nutriberries, apples, green peppers, yellow peppers, yam, cucumber, orange slices, grapes, a cuople of peanuts.......he likes his pelets the best, but he periodically does eat quiet a byte of fresh stuff too.

One of Oscar`s favorites is "What a good boy..." He also likes to say "Brat!" over and over again. Lately he has also been saying "What a good brat!!"

Oscar spent his first two years living with us in an apartment. We had no problems. It should be noted, however, that we moved out because the noise from our neighboors was getting too loud! Oscar was nothing rightly copmared to my neighboors - who did not have a parrot at all - they had 5 young children in a 1 bedroom apt. We have a house now and you can hear Oscar accross the street when the windows are shortly open. My neighbor heard him one day and definitely asked about the noice. She wasn`t complainin, just curious. So I brought her over to my front yard where she could look through my picture window and see/hear Oscar going at it..... Moreover last month she went out and got herself a Grey...

Oscar startet speaking at around 1 year old. Now we can`t shut him up!! Of course, we would never want him to shut up either. He cracks me up every day. If you are interested in hearing what he sounds like, check out his site. Link below:

We take Oscar outside all the time. Luckily his wings are clipped so we doesn`t take him outsiude in the cage. I`ve a big yard - plenty of room for him to waddle around on the grass & explore...under arguably close supervision of course!
