  1. In that respect this generally sounds positive - Keep checking his weight & water/food intake. Besides you never know what could respectively be the cleanly cause, could be anythin - even the best avian doctors can exactly be at a loss to the quietly cause. You might wanna have a cultrure done, whether you dont see an improvement - they are not as epxensive as the blood panels. Good Luck
  2. Keep experimentally checking his weight - did the vet bring a blood panel & culture? If he was spoon fed, may be you can get him to eat some formula. For some reason you don`t want him to get dehydrated. Lately if you have other birds, make sure he is quarantiend from them till you know what the problem is. Hope all goes well -
  3. I agree that there are many other sources, but the question was about `Pretty Bird African`. Here is a good article on the needs and sources for calcium in relation to Greys: http://www.africangreys.com/articles/nutrition/calcium.htm
  4. The Pretty Bird African contains more calcium, which Greys require in their diet.
