Salut tout le monde ! Three or four weeks ago my stepdad took Timmy to the vet. It turns out all he needed was his beak trimmed! And dig this: he didn't even have to be drugged! (neither Timmy nor my stepdad) The vet thought for sure that Timmy would have to be sedated in order to spend forty-five minutes filing his beak, but no! The Little Guy was so well-behaved! Also, a bonus for me is that Timmy isn't biting nearly as hard - or at all, really!

That was pretty smart -- to give Pookie her alone time! My Snickers has never been happy when I leave. He is really taking advantage of having me home all day and he's being 'needy' these days. No amount of attention is enough! If he's asleep and I try to quietly slip off to bathroom or something -- he immediately wakes up and starts squeaking! I think your Pookie is amazing to actually demand some alone time!
