socks?

Hi there could i make a toy using a sock with newspaper or something safe to bulk it out with? is this a safe idea? i`d hang this in the cage. thougths jus thad the idea one day had this for a dog we had once loved it:)

I don't see why you could not use a sock just make sure your birds nails are trimmed so they don't catch on it. Show pictures when your done

We used to make the sock-toy for my cat when I was little...we'd fill it up with catnip and tie it off and watch the FUN BEGIN!! She NEVER played with toys, except her catnip sock. Lol! That might be why she was so fat. No activity unless there was a catnip sock around. Sorry for the unrelated rant, the sock toy thing got me thinking about her.
