Soft water

Clark gets bottled water for now... while i get it free but when i move to cali i might put a water softner on the house which i heard was bad for animals any1 confirm this? i couldnt find a site saying it was bad for birds... or maybe all these years i grew up thinking this and i was just misinformed by my mom lol<br><br>Post edited by: Thejondude, at: 2009/03/14 23:59

I'm not real sure but I would err on the side of caution and say that I wouldn't give Clark softened water because they use sodium to soften it, maybe someone else knows more about it than I do.

I have read to give them bottled water but I give them water straight from the tap. I felt much better after about it after seeing so many reports that bottled water is no purer than regular tap water. I wouldn't use a water softner either, especially if there are chemicals used to soften it.
