Thats a good picture of Rishi and your wife, she is a lovely woman and the grey isn't half bad either:blush: thanks for sharing it with us and I wish I was at the beach, oh well, in a couple of weeks, yes!

Fab photo, I am so jealous. I haven't seen the sun in over a week now and have had snow storms the last few days.

That is one fine looking grey, looks like Rishi knows how to pose for the camera.

Well its a beautiful picture of your wife and Rishi, but dont you put a harness on your grey? I would hate to think you would lose him.

If he got spooked at all he would be gone!

Beautiful photo of you two lovely family members. :-)

As others commented, it is rather shocking to see an untethered bird outdoors. It brings some bad memories to those of us whom had a clipped bird supposedly unflighted, fly away.

Thanks for sharing the photo.

Thanks everyone. I thought a clipped bird couldn't fly. I have ordered the aviator harness and now after all your advice I will wait for it to arrive and get him used to it before taking him out.

That is a myth that people think that a clipped bird cannot fly but with being spooked and a little wind they can indeed go a distance and get up into a tree. Its akin to us when we get scared and do things we thought we were incapable of doing, adrenaline kicks in and we surprise ourselves.

What a lovely picture - but I too shuddered when I saw no harness. Harvey's got a fright a couple of times when on his - and normally sits so still - he would have flown away was it not for the aviator.

Well done though for being scared into submission and buying one! ;)

Love the picture and Richi looks great...I would still be concerned og him being there without a Harness...just be careful..

Hi Ranaz, thanks. That was the only time i did that. At that time, I thought it was safe since he was clipped until I got some advice from other experienced members.

I bought the Aviator a few months back, but Rishi refused to tolerate it. I am still working on it. I hope he eventually comes to at least tolerate it so that I can take him out.
