rierie Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Well I finally got some legos for charlie.... been looking for some cheaper ones then the 30 dollar ones.... i found some at the dollar store for a dollar, about 25 pieces... and he loves them...general dollar store if anyone is looking.. he has played with them all evening... he takes them apart.. and i pick them up and put them back together.. know if i can just teach the dog not to run off with them when he drops one.. snoopies got so used to him dropping food... he things he can eat the legos.
judygram Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Charlie finally got him some legos and they are a big hit, especially when you find them at the dollar store, now you just have to teach Snoopie not to run away with them.
sugarbeth Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Oh, I'm so glad, because we have a ton of legos around! I have a Jr. FIRST Lego League team so I needed to get a bunch of them for the kids and I scored a ton of them off craigslist. I'm sure my own kids will love building stuff for our future grey to destroy! lol!
rierie Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 i only found one package... but i will be looking at other dollar stores and going back to see if i can find more...
judygram Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 You know why you only found one package, other grey owners had already bought the others, didn't you hear there was a run on Legos since we discovered they were excellent grey toys.  :woohoo:
CarolandFamily Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Now that's agreat idea and more shopping for me.
Vee Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 I bought my CAG lego when I first got him. I change his toys every few days just to he doesn't get bored. I think he is spoilt as he won't play with any toys anymore and wants to be with me 24/7. I even bought him a computer keyboard which kept him busy for 15 minutes and then he was bored with that too. I find giving him toys that play tunes keeps him happier longer. My family say I have spoilt him. I do try and make him have 'alone' time to play. Sometimes they re just like kids !!
